Beyond the Inspection: Environmental Consulting with MD Mold
At MD Mold, we don’t just check for spots. We are Environmental Consultants specializing in building science and indoor microbiology. While many general inspectors offer mold testing as a convenient add-on, we treat your indoor environment as a complex ecosystem that requires a rigorous, scientific approach to solve.
The MD Mold Difference: Science, Not Guesswork
Our process moves beyond a visual look to provide a high-resolution map of your buildings environmental health:
Data-Driven Diagnostics: Our consultants utilize high-sensitivity infrared thermography, digital moisture mapping, borescope imaging with in-depth sampling. These all provide essential information to diagnose the indoor environment.
Evidence-Based Protocols: Every recommendation we make is backed by peer-reviewed environmental science and industry-leading standards. We provide a scientific "Scope of Work" that tells you exactly what needs to be done, removing the guesswork for remediation contractors.
As consultants, our goal is to provide unbiased, third-party validation. Because we do not perform the remediation ourselves, our data remains objective. We aren't looking for a "job to fix" we are looking for the truth.
Whether you are dealing with a complex "sick building" mystery in Downtown La Crosse or recurring moisture issues in a Bluffside estate, MD Mold applies the analytical rigor needed to ensure your air is safe, your building is sound, and your family or employees are protected.

FAQ
What is mold?
Mold is a type of fungus that grows in damp environments and can affect indoor air quality.
How long is the inspection?
Why qPCR?
What is moisture mapping?
We use advanced molecular diagnostics like qPCR (quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction) for precise mold identification. qPCR is a DNA-based testing method that detects and measures mold at the genetic level, even when spores are not easily identified microscopically.
Inspections typically take several hours depending on property size and complexity.
Do you also perform mold remediation?
As part of our commitment to transparency and trust, we focus solely on inspection and testing. We do NOT do remediation. If remediation is needed, we do not recommend specific companies, ensuring our findings remain completely unbiased.
